1. Introduction
By using the matchmaking services offered by In Real Life Social Connect (IRLSC), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services Provided
IRLSC offers bespoke, human-centred matchmaking services focused on real-life connection.
Additional date matches beyond the three /or six matches as stipulated in your package, simply charge a $100 curation fee. You can have as many of these as you need from 6 Months of your sign up date.

3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
-
Be able to enter into a legally binding contract
-
Reside in Darwin or surrounding areas (unless otherwise agreed)
4. Payment Terms
-
Payments for each package or add-on are due before the service is rendered.
-
The pricing for each service is as stated on the website at the time of booking.
-
Payments are deducted from the initial deposit amount, where applicable.
-
No refunds are provided for payments made for services rendered.
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before any scheduled appointment.
-
No refunds will be issued for missed dates; you must advise of cancellations at least 24 hours before a date to reschedule. You can only reschedule once during your contract with IRLSC.
5. Matchmaking Process & Guarantees
-
Matches are determined based on the information provided in your matchmaking profile, using professional judgment and matching algorithms.
-
While IRLSC commits to working diligently to find a match for you, there is no guarantee of a match within any specific timeframe, this can take time to find a suitable match, unless stated in the package guarantee.
-
If a match is not found within the guaranteed period (as specified for Darwin-based clients), IRLSC will continue working with you for free until a match is found.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
-
All personal data provided during the matchmaking process (including your profile and photos/videos) is stored securely and only used for the purpose of matchmaking.
-
We will only share your personal information with potential matches if they have explicitly agreed to view your profile.
-
By using our services, you agree to receive updates about your matchmaking process via email, text, phone call, and sometimes WhatsApp if required (unless you opt out).
7. Responsibilities of Clients
-
You must provide accurate and honest information when completing your profile. Failure to do this may affect your matches and not make IRLSC liable for your outcomes. Package may be terminated if found.
-
You agree to actively engage in the matchmaking process, respond to communication, and attend scheduled dates (unless there is an emergency).
-
If you fail to attend dates, consistently refuse to engage with matches, mistreat any of the clients or staff of IRLSC, or behave inappropriately, IRLSC reserves the right to suspend or terminate services with deposit retained.
8. Limitations of Liability
-
IRLSC provides matchmaking services on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or that a match will result in a long-term relationship.
-
We are not responsible for any personal harm, emotional distress, or any loss or damage arising from any interactions between clients.
-
We are not liable for any third-party services (e.g., restaurants, venues, etc.) used during matchmaking-related events, even though we offer partner discounts at select Waterfront venues for your benefit.
9. Code of Conduct
-
All clients must treat others with respect. Abusive language, behaviour, or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

Any report of this requires evidence or a statutory declaration to proceed further.
-
Clients are expected to engage in honest communication throughout the matchmaking process. If found in breaching of these terms, your services may be cancelled at any time and funds of your package retained.

Respectful Behaviour:
Clients must treat all other clients, staff, and third parties with courtesy and respect at all times, whether in person, by phone, email, text, or any other form of communication. Intimidation, harassment, abuse, or humiliation of others will result in immediate termination of services without refund. -
Honesty and Integrity:
Clients must provide truthful, current, and accurate information in their profile and all communications. Misrepresentation of age, relationship status, background, or intentions is grounds for suspension or termination. -
Personal Use Only:
Services are for personal, non-commercial use only. Clients may not use IRLSC’s services for business, commercial, or promotional purposes. -
No Impersonation or Misuse:
Clients must not impersonate any person or entity, or mislead others about their identity. -
No Criminal, Abusive, or Dangerous Conduct:
Clients must not engage in any unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour, including stalking or physical harm. Clients must not have undisclosed criminal convictions or be required to register as a sex offender. -
Emotional and Physical Readiness:
Clients must warrant that they are emotionally and physically fit to participate in dating and are not currently addicted to drugs, alcohol, or engaging in self-harming behaviours. -
Confidentiality:
Clients must respect the privacy and confidentiality of other clients. Sharing another client’s personal information, photos, or communications without explicit consent is strictly prohibited due to privacy. -
No Third-Party Promotion:
Clients must not use the service to promote products, services, or other businesses. -
Reporting Misconduct:
Clients agree to promptly report any violations of these Terms & Conditions, inappropriate behaviour, or safety concerns to IRLSC for investigation and possible action. -
Compliance with Laws:
Clients agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with their participation in IRLSC services. -
No Endorsement of Statements:
Clients must not imply or state that their views or actions are endorsed by IRLSC. -
No High-Pressure Solicitation:
Clients must not engage in high-pressure tactics or solicitation of other clients for any reason.
10. Termination

IRLSC reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time if clients violate these Terms & Conditions.

Clients may also terminate the contract by notifying IRLSC in writing via email, no refunds will be issued for services already rendered.
11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disputes, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through mediation before taking any legal action.
-
Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IRLSC operates.
12. Amendments
IRLSC reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website and will become effective immediately.
