IRL Social Connect – Terms & Conditions

1. What We Do

IRL provides personalised, human-centred matchmaking, including:

• Private and public profiles
• AI-assisted matchmaking
• Video profile creation
• One-on-one dating and confidence coaching
• Singles events and speed dating
• Ongoing dating guidance and support

We work hard to help you meet the right people; however, we cannot guarantee matches, dates, relationships, or personal outcomes.

2. Who Can Use IRL

You must:

• Be 18 or older
• Live in Darwin or surrounding areas (unless otherwise agreed)
• Be legally able to enter an agreement

3. Fees & Cancellations

• Basic profiles and some services are currently free.
• Paid services are non-refundable once delivered.
• Client cancellations require 24 hours’ notice.
• If IRL cancels an event or session, you may receive a credit or a new event date at the discretion of IRL.

4. Privacy, Data & AI

Your privacy matters. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles and GDPR.

We may use AI to assist in matchmaking, but all matches are reviewed by a human. AI is not perfect and may make errors. We only share your profile or information with your consent.

5. Video Profile Consent

Many clients find more success with a video profile. If you choose to create one:

• Videos may be shown to potential matches privately.
• Public display on the IRL website is optional and requires your explicit consent.
• Videos must meet IRL standards (no nudity, disrespectful content, or misinformation). Please report any videos that do not meet these standards.
• You may request removal at any time.

We do not sell or share your videos with any third party.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Be truthful and respectful
• Communicate honestly and safely
• Treat staff and other clients with courtesy
• Keep other clients’ personal information private

7. Code of Conduct

We do not tolerate:

• Harassment
• Abuse
• Discriminatory behaviour
• Unsafe conduct

Violation can result in suspension or termination of services without refund.

8. Safety

We encourage clients to meet in public places and take appropriate precautions. IRL is not responsible for the behaviour or actions of other clients.

9. Our Liability

IRL is not liable for:

• Emotional outcomes
• Behaviour of other clients
• Unsuccessful matches
• Third-party system issues

10. Updates

We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available here.
